The Kona Ice truck will be at school tomorrow, courtesy of the PTO. If your child would like to purchase Kona Ice, prices range from $3 to $6. Only cash will be accepted.
Students have two more days to purchase tickets for the Spring Dance. Tickets are $10, and will be on sale tomorrow morning and Friday morning before school in the library. The dance will be held this Friday night (4/26) at Cornerstone Hall in Salem from 7:00-9:00.
The Middle School Book Fair will be February 5th-9th.

If your child is attending Student Appreciation Night tonight, please arrive at 8:30 for pick-up. It's hard to tell when the game will end, but it should be around that time. When the game ends, we will bring the students to the following locations:
8th Grade Pick-up: High School Main Entrance (facing Eastern School Rd)
7th Grade Pick-up: High School Game/Event Entrance (near auxiliary gym)
5th and 6th Grade Pick-up: Middle School Car Rider Line (East end of the building)
If you have multiple kids to pick up, please report to the location of the oldest child.
If you are bringing your child to the game, drop off begins at 5:00 at the High School Game/Event Entrance.
The EWMS Halloween Dance will be held tomorrow after school from 3:00-5:00. If your student would like to attend, and has not yet purchased a ticket, we will sell tickets at the door for $5, but they must have exact change. We will also offer concessions at the dance, so students should bring additional money if they want to purchase food and drinks. Students are allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school tomorrow, but they must be school appropriate, and they cannot wear masks. 7th and 8th grade parents should pick their students up behind the middle school gym (on the hill by the tennis courts), and 5th and 6th grade parents should pick their students up in the car rider line at the end of the building closest to the football field. All students will need picked up at 5:00.
We are making a change to the start time of Friday night's performance of "Elf Jr". This will allow spectators the opportunity to attend both the play and the sectional football championship. "Elf Jr" will now begin at 6:00 on Friday. If you're attending the play Friday night, please park in the high school parking lots, so the football fans can park closer to the field.
Thursday night's performance of "Elf Jr" will remain at the original time of 7:00. Tickets for both nights of "Elf Jr" are still on sale! You can purchase tickets at http://ehstheatre.Ludus.com
Parent Teacher conferences will be held at EWMS this Friday, October 20. Conferences will run from 8:00-3:00, and can be scheduled by calling the middle school office. You're welcome to schedule in-person or phone conferences with your child's teachers. Students will not attend school this Friday. It will be an elearning day. Thank you!

We will host Welcome Night for all 5th graders and newly enrolled students on July 31st from 5:00-7:00. Students and their families should enter through the main doors of the middle school to pick up schedules, then head straight to the performing arts center. After a brief assembly, students will have the opportunity to practice their lockers and find their classrooms! Returning 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students can now access their schedules in Alma.
We will host our annual EWMS Spring Dance this Friday night, April 28 at Cornerstone Hall in Salem. The dance will start at 7:00 and end at 9:00, doors will open at 6:45. Students may purchase tickets this week before school in the library for $10. When dropping off and picking up your student(s), please follow the same protocol as you do in the car rider line at school. Adults should stay in their vehicles and following the traffic cones. We will get students in and out as quickly and safely as possible. Your patience is so appreciated!

On Tuesday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the EWMS cafeteria, we will host an informational meeting for 8th graders and their parents regarding high school preparation. High school teachers will have booths set up highlighting their courses and clubs from 6:00-6:30 prior to the meeting. This will be an important meeting regarding high school scheduling, diploma types, grad pathways, career pathways, and freshman course choices. This meeting will be hosted by our high school guidance counselors.
All middle school students are invited to Student Appreciation Night next Tuesday. It will be held during the 7th and 8th grade girls' basketball game. Please check out the details below!

Time: 6:00 (students may be dropped off early, or may stay after school)

Admission: $2.00 (This includes admission, hot dog, chips, drink, and candy. Students may bring extra money for additional concessions.)
